The resort island of Komandoo in the Maldives is positively tiny, just 328 feet (100m) in width and 1,600 feet (500m) in length and home to 45 beach villas placed a few feet from the ocean on the white sand beaches. Komandoo is located on the Lhaviyani Atoll, a 40-minute seaplane trip from Malé. The resort is too small to have any sort of nightlife, but there is a bar, restaurant and coffee shop; there are also facilities for scuba diving, badminton, volleyball, big game fishing, windsurfing, and canoeing. Day trips are available to neighbouring islands.
