Ragged Mountain is a popular ski resort in New Hampshire for beginners and intermediates, as it has a number of gentle runs and affordable lift tickets. The mountain also features a half pipe for snowboarding, and 160 skiable acres of trails. Only 90 minutes drive from Boston, Ragged Mountain is a popular weekend getaway from the city, but is also feasible as a day trip. Apres ski options are severely limited, with only 4 restaurants to choose from and very little nightlife.
