Day Trippers are one of the leading alternative and adventure
tour operators in the Western Cape. Day Trippers travel itineraries
are a far cry from the average mainstream bus tour in that the aim
is to keep travellers out of the bus as much as possible, with
activities such as hiking, biking, cruising, picnicking and
swimming available on many of its holiday tours. Day Trippers'
speciality is bicycling, with over 170 bicycles and a range of
custom-built bicycle trailers in its fleet that can cater for
groups of any size. Tours can range from a mellow half-hour cycle
in the winelands or Cape Point to a vigorous 3- hour off-road cycle
in Grabouw Forest or a 2-week cycle from PE to Cape Town.
