We had a wonderful time on our overland safari from Cape Town to Nairobi and then on to Uganda and Rwanda. The age range of travellers wa 19 - 60 so a great age spread and plently of active over 50's. This trip was mostly camping but there was ample opportunity for upgrades to hotels and the staff were so helpful with this. Meals were great, generally a wonderful tour and I would travel Dragoman again.

i have travelled with drago thru africa, middle east and china, south america. all the trips were fantastic, the key is to remember this is an overland trip. you have the opportunity to experience life on the road, interact with the local people in a variety of ways. i highly recommend this company and this type of travel for the person who wants to get from point a to b who has a sense of adventure, can go with the flow. who will take initiative to do some research for themselves not be spoon fed information. people who are not afraid of getting a lil dirty and enjoy a surprize or two around the next corner.overland travel is a great starter course for future independent travel. i have spent about 10 months in all on drago trucks, each with its bumps and grinds and at the end of each trip any negatives have seen very small to the large life i experienced on the trip planning to go again next oct thru india. give it go !
