Kipepeo tours are worth their weight in gold. This was fantastic. Baltzaar and Ahbib both did a fantastic job. Baltzaar is the owner and knows foreigners are nervous about the same thing anyone else would be. We foreigners don\'t know anything local, anyone local, and we don\'t know where anything is or where to go if we get into problems. Basically, we are lost. Baltzaar takes the effort to answer your e-mail questions. So don\'t hold back. He\'s good with it.
I bought a 3 day safari. I requested to be picked up in town instead of the airport. No problem. The first day we went to Lake Maynara. The driver was Ahbib. He did a great job looking for animals, communicating with other drivers to learn where the animals were, responding to client requests, going slow when we wanted, going fast when we wanted, going back when we wanted, answering our questions, and just being a nice guy. He knew when we were pushing the patience of the animals and did not cross that line. We saw many fantastic animals. I have nearly 120 pictures and 1 hour of movie video to enjoy. There\'s plenty of bottled water to drink, so don\'t carry your own. After the day, the place I was supposed to stay was overbooked. But Baltzaar took care of everything. He booked me into a VERY nice place; the Serena lodge in Maynara. It\'s a 4.5 star motel! All meals were included (but not the booze). The food was very good. The room was very nice; the grounds were patrolled by security. Everyone was very nice. There\'s plenty of bottled water to drink, so don\'t bring your own.
The next morning I was picked up and taken for 1 day to Ngorongoro crater. We had the same driver. We saw lions, Rhino, elephant, worthog, zebra, wildebeast, hyenas, antelope of all sorts, and cheetah. Once again, Ahbib did a great job of communicating and driving. Then I was taken to the Ngorongoro farmhouse. This is no farmhouse. It\'s a 4.5 star hotel. I had my own bungalow that was nearly 16 meters by 16 meters (50\' x 50\'). It had its own porch with seating, spacious shower & vanity, working toilet etc., etc. The food was also included and very good.
The next morning we were supposed to go the Massai village. However, the clients discussed it and unanimously requested not to go. The driver said \"no problem\" and I was driven back to Arusha by a very friendly driver.
Kipepeo tours takes care of everything. They\'ll pick you up at the airport and drop you off there for an all inclusive FUN safari. I WILL NOT use any other service because of their wonderful effort. I do NOT work for them. This is all on the level. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! USE KIPEPEO! Just make sure you fly into Kilimanjaro international airport. I don\'t think Kipepeo goes to Dar Es Salaam.
