Fine, loved Cambodia and Laos.

Very good service - my girlfriend and I travelled with them in Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos earlier this year and had an amazing time. The hotels suggested were perfect and the guides all very good indeed. We can't wait to go back although that may have to wait a year or two!

Have just returned from a FANTASTIC holiday in Vietnam organised for us by 'Selective Asia'. We dealt with Nick who was really knowledgeable and helpful and planned a Tailor Made trip for us. We were there for nearly three weeks and visited Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An, Hue and The Mekong Delta. Everything went like clockwork. The guides and drivers were excellent and the trip had all the ingredients to make a varied, interesting, relaxing and worry free holiday. I would definitely recommend Selective Asia, we couldn't fault them!!!

Very good all round, loved Cambodia and Laos. Am already talking to them about Borneo. Guides were great and itinerary was about right - would have preferred more time in Phnom Penh but that's my work's fault!

We have just returned from a superb two week holiday in Asia with this company. We travelled in Borneo (incredible) mostly although a few nights on the way back in KL (dull). Highlights were the orangutans of course and a few days on Lankayan Island - every bit as idylic as we\'d hoped - as well as Danum Valley. Guides were excellent, all-round service very good thanks mostly to Karl who was very knowlegdable and well-travelled.

We have just returned from an 18 day tour in Vietnam arranged by Selective Asia. The organisation and arrangements were superb, we could not fault them. Having our own personal guide was great since we could do what we wanted, rather than having to go along with a group. We were able to combine sightseeing with some down time at the beach and I couldn't find any other company that could arrange this to our wishes at the price they quoted. I was amzed how they managed to achieve it for the price we paid. Lionel was very helpful telling us where and when to go, so many thanks.

Great from start to finish - Lionel my consultant was a wealth of information, the arrangements all worked perfectly and both our guides were amongst the best my wife and I have ever had...perhaps Dong in Hanoi was the best. No hesitation in recommending Selective Asia to others, nor Vietnam - what a wonderful country and the people are just magical. Highlights - Hoi An for certain and we loved Hanoi, lowlights - perhaps Saigon, it's more built up than we had expected, soem great restaurants though.

we own a pub. Someone from selective asia pre booked a meal with us which we cooked and got ready. It was for a group of twelve people. The food was made from scratch with fresh vegetables. They didnt bother to turn up and all the food was wasted and they didnt pay for it. Not sure if he works for this company. His name was Nick.

A quick review of our trip away with of Selective Asia… Firstly, to say this was our first time to both Vietnam and Laos – they had been on our wish list for years and so we wanted to see as much as we could, but also take some time to relax and take it all in. We dealt with Karl in the Selective Asia office from the start and he worked with what we knew we wanted and put together an itinerary, which worked for us perfectly. The day-by-day itinerary was spot on and we had a great time with our guides! This was a new experience for us, and I was a little apprehensive about the prospect of ‘sharing’ our holiday time with someone else, but I quickly got over it and thoroughly enjoyed their company! Linh in Vietnam was just a fountain of knowledge and I’m sure we couldn’t have navigated our way around Hanoi without her, nor would what I was seeing have meant nearly so much. Tik in Laos was enthusiastic, always smiling and a delight even at 6am! It was Tik that guided us on our Elephant Trek, and I will never forget his nonchalont face when faced with this huge beast (and the prospect of spending three days with it) compared to my shock, horror and utter excitement! The trek itself was an experience I just couldn’t have anticipated. Our mahouts were a scream, the scenery was breathtaking and the journey was a true life experience – hard work at times but so worth every moment. A couple of nights in tents made me feel less indulgent about some of the amazing places we stayed on this holiday. I had seen so many pictures of the stunning resorts in Asia and to stay in a few of these became a must for me. The Life Resort in Hoi An – oh wow, and Mango Bay in Phu Quoc – dreamy beachside villas not to mention Villa Malay in Luang Prabang…these were my favourites! Our budget didn’t stretch to this level of hotel every night, but Karl mixed it up for us, so we had a few nights in great little guest houses making the uber luxurious nights an affordable treat. All in all we couldn’t have asked for more – except for another couple of weeks of course.
