Charged $600 to give a quote and we were not informed that it was not refundable. Then they increased the prices even when we removed activities from the itinerary. Never use them.

Grand Tour of China - have just returned from this tour - WOW. Went there, saw it all, did it all. WWT operate a very slick business - you are shepherded around very efficiently by your national tour guide assisted by local guides in individual locations. There is a lot of internal travel and some overnight stays when you just take hand baggage leaving main luggage back at the hotel as you will return there - so be prepared. Our national guide was very knowledgeable and things ran very smoothly. There are a number of staged informative attractions with retail opportunities attached and the choice of taking in various local shows, most of which were great, esp the acrobatic one and the water one at Guilin. This was a fairly active holiday (so you need to be reasonably fit) offering a number of step climbing opportunities including the Great Wall. I did experience a slight challenge food-wise being vegetarian but have been assured by WWT that they are going to be fully investigating this aspect and making improvements. Overall it was a tremendous holiday covering a lot of ground and included most of the Must Be Seen sights of China. We had a good mix of UK, Australian & New Zealanders on our trip who all got on really well together - this was the icing on the cake!

A good solid tour operator providing a good level of service. We travelled on the 3 sun 14 day tour - this meant 3 star hotels- all of which were adequate rather than than great. I am not sure I would recommend upgrading as the itinerary is so packed that you do little but sleep in the hotel. We paid the extra premium to have a personally guided tour. This does give a bit of extra flexibility which I think is good value for money. The only reservation I have with the tour is the "compulsory tipping" = the implication of a tip is that it should be discretionary and dependant on the level of service that is provided.

My husband and I were on the Wendy Wu Classic China tour for 21 days and thoroughly enjoyed it, everything was excellent. Accommodation, internal train and air travel, national guide Ding Wei, bus travel, meals, sightseeing. There was 26 on our tour and all got on wonderfully well. Would recommend this company to all. We hope to do the Silk Road Wendy Wu Tour in the next couple of years....

My wife and I went in the China Delights Tour. The tour was excellent and value for money has to be the best tour I have made.
Hotels good quality with excellent meals and facilities (the meals were great whether in the hotels or local restaurants).
Internal travel was very good (2 overnight train trips and 2 internal flights)
A special thanks to the tour guides all the local guides were good but our national guide Emmanual was a real pleasure his local and national knowledge of events and history was unsurpassed this coupled with his ability as an organiser made him a real gem.
We look forward to our next tour.
