Climate

Costa Rica has a tropical climate, which means it experiences a great deal of rainfall and little differentiation between seasons. Although rain falls all year round, the weather in Costa Rica is particularly wet between May and November. The highest temperatures, averaging 89ºF (32ºC), occur along the coast, moderated slightly by sea breezes. The interior highlands enjoy warm days, but conditions cool down considerably at night.
