Airports in Czech Republic

Prague Václav Havel Airport (PRG)

Overview

Prague Ruzynì International Airport is a clean and efficient airport just 10 miles (16km) west of Prague's city centre. The airport serves over 11 million passengers each year. Prague has become a popular destination for quick weekend breaks and the Old Town district offers trendy nightspots and relaxing pubs.

The airport has quick processing times and the staff are friendly. However, the shops, restaurants and bars are steeply priced. Passengers with some time to kill at the airport should head to the cinema in the departures hall of Terminal 2.

Location

The airport is situated 10 miles (16km) northwest of Prague.

Getting to the city

Cedaz minibus shuttles leave regularly for the city centre; they can drop passengers off at hotels throughout the city.
