A visa is required, except for tourists arriving at Sharm El Sheik (SSH), Saint Catherine (SKV) or Taba (TCP) airports, and staying in the Sinai resort area only for up to 15 days. Passport/Visa Note

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required to enter Egypt, if arriving within six days after leaving or transiting through infected areas. NOTE: Persons without a valid yellow fever certificate, if one is required, will be subject to quarantine. It is highly recommended that your passport has at least six months validity remaining after your intended date of departure from your travel destination. Immigration officials often apply different rules to those stated by travel agents and official sources.
