Libreville Leon Mba International Airport (LBV)
Overview
The main international airport for Gabon, Libreville International Airport is both a public and a military airport and the hub for local operators. It is not a big airport and has only one terminal; facilities for tourists are limited. Queues at passport control can become long and at times the airport can feel chaotic.
There are currently no direct flights to Gabon from the UK or the US but connecting flights are available.

Just over six miles (11km) from the city centre.
Getting to the city
There is a free airport shuttle servicing a number of nearby hotels, which departs every 30 minutes. There are also always taxis available at the airport.
