Airports in Guadeloupe
Pointe-a-Pitre is located on the island of Grande-Terre, just one mile (2.5km) northeast of the city centre.
Getting to the city
Renting a vehicle is highly recommended, as public transport is very unreliable. Reputable hotels in the area may offer shuttle transfers. Public buses run from 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday, and cost €1 for the 25-minute ride into the city. Cabs are also available from the airport, but are pricey.
Pointe-a-Pitre International Airport Taxis: the taxi fares above are intended as a guideline only.
