Airports in Hong Kong
Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)
Overview
Located in Chep Lap Kok outside of Hong Kong City, Hong Kong International Airport is one of the world's busiest airports and one of the main travel hubs in mainland China.
One of the biggest terminal facilities in the world, Hong Kong International Airport has also been voted among the best airports worldwide by Skytrax. The facility is clean and efficient, with few of the organisation problems that often plague smaller Chinese airports. There are also a host of entertainment options ranging from designer shops and restaurants to art galleries and even a golf course.
Location
The airport is situated 21 miles (34km) northwest of Hong Kong Island and 14 miles (23km) from Kowloon.
Getting to the city
