Climate
Lebanon's position along the coast provides a moderating influence on its climate. Summers (June to September) are hot and dry on the coast and cooler in the mountains. Spring and autumn are warm and pleasant and winter (December to mid-March) is mostly rainy, with snow in the mountains.
