Silvio Pettirossi International Airport (ASU)

Location: The airport is situated at Luque, a suburb of the capital Asuncion, about 10 miles (16km) from the city centre.

Getting to the city: A bus and taxi service connects to the city; buses are very cheap although slow. Travel time is about 45 minutes. The bus stop is about a short walk from the terminal while taxis await directly outside.
Car rental: Hertz car rental is represented at the airport.
Facilities: The airport terminal has a bureau de change, ATM machine, duty free shop and two restaurants.
Parking: None available.
Departure Tax: US$18 (except transit passengers and children under two).
