As Peru's main airport for both domestic and international flights, Jorge Chavez International Airport handles more than nine million passengers each year. Conveniently located seven miles (11km) from central Lima, Jorge Chavez International Airport serves as a hub for several South American airlines, and flights to Jorge Chavez International Airport are available from worldwide destinations including Paris, Madrid, Miami, Buenos Aires, Atlanta, Amsterdam, Toronto, Sao Paulo, Houston, Havana and Newark.
The airport is situated 10 miles (16km) northwest of Lima.
Getting to the city
Buses and minibuses service the city centre; their stops are outside the airport gates on Avenida Faucett. They travel to the city, stopping along the main avenues.

The airport is located three miles (4km) from downtown Cuzco.
Getting to the city
There no buses or trains from the airport, so taxis or a rented car are your only options to get to your destination in the city. Some hotels offer a pick up service from the airport which should be arranged prior to arrival.
