Réunion has a hot, tropical climate, with temperatures differing according to elevation. Humidity on the island is high. The mountainous interior tends to be cool, while coastal temperatures can range between 64°F and 88°F (18-31°C). May to November is dry and cool, while November to April is hot and rainy. The island is sporadically affected by cyclones. The dry, cool months are the most popular in which to travel to Réunion.
