Bauerfield International Airport (VLI)

Location: The airport is seven miles (11km) from Port Vila on the island of Efate.

Getting to the city: Local buses serve the airport on a regular basis and the major resort hotels offer shuttle services for guests. Taxis are to the left of the terminal building and operate on a standard fare structure of around Vt1,500 to most locations in or near the city.
Car rental: Hertz, Avis and Budget are represented at the airport.
Facilities: The airport offers limited duty-free shopping, two bars, a currency exchange desk and a café. There is an ATM and tourist information desk.
Departure Tax: Vt2,500 per person, usually included in the price of package holidays.
