Climate
Arkansas is temperate, with four distinct seasons. Due to its southern location, its summers are very hot and humid. Thunderstorms are common, and as Arkansas borders the 'Tornado Alley' region, there is always a chance for severe weather. Winters are comparatively mild, with chilly, though not bitter, temperatures and occasional light snowfalls. Spring and autumn are pleasant times to visit.
