Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT)
Overview
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is often referred to locally as simply Manchester Airport (not to be confused with Manchester International Airport in England), and is located roughly three miles (5km) from Manchester, new Hampshire. A small facility, Manchester-Boston is most often used as a budget alternative to Boston Logan International Airport for flights to Boston, located about 50 miles (80km) to the south.
Processing around for million passengers each year, flights to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport come in from cities across the eastern US, including busy routes to Baltimore, Philadelphia, Orlando, Chicago, Tampa, Detroit, Atlanta, Washington DC and Newark.
Location
The airport is situated three miles (5km) from Manchester city centre and less than 80km (50 miles) north of Boston in Massachusetts.
Getting to the city
The Manchester Transit Authority provides a bus service to and from the airport to Manchester city centre. Flightline, Hampton Shuttle inc. and other private companies also operate shuttle services to and from Manchester, Boston and the surrounding areas. Reservations are required. There is a taxi service available in front of the terminal.
