The climate in Wales is temperate, with few extremes of temperature. Wetter than England, Wales also has less sunshine, though the coastal areas tend to be very warm in summer. May to August is the sunniest, driest time of year and perhaps the best time to consider travel to Wales, but further inland, conditions can be highly changeable and care should be taken when travelling.
