Kazakhstan is part of central Asia. It is bordered by Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and China, and is ranked as the ninth largest country in the world as well as the world's largest landlocked country.

Kazakhstan is ethnically and culturally diverse, but Kazakhs are the largest group, followed by Russians. The Kazakhs are a Turkic people of the northern parts of Central Asia, and are also found in parts of Uzbekistan, China, Russia, and Mongolia.

I am doing a country report and I was assigned Kazakhstan. I'm not giving out my age, but let's just say I'm a straight A student and younger than a lot of the people on here by more than a few years! I had never heard of Kazkahstan before I was assigned it and I find it very interesting. This website gave me most of the info on my report so I'm glad it's here. Also tell me if you think pilaf is a good recipe to bring in for my classmates to taste. One more question. We have to dress as something related to our countries and I don't know what to do. It is due June fifth so I have a few weeks, but an outfit is the easy part so I don't want to waste too much time on it. Thanks for listening!
