We shall be arriving into Nairobi and hoping to buy a Kenyan visa at the airport. Can anyone confirm the cost in US$ or GBP for a UK passport holder please? Also, how many photos are required? Then We go into Tanzania on a safari tour, returning to Nairobi before flying on to Zanzibar. I assume that will need two single entry visas for Tanzania. Again, can anyone confirm the cost in US$ or GBP for a UK passport holder please? Also, how many photos are required? Any comments on the time this takes at the borders also appreciated. Thanks!

we are planning to travel to nairobi and we would like to have entry visa ready at the airport is there any agent could arrange this for us, we are three of of different national yemeni +lebaneese and egyptian

We are planning to visit Tanzania. We are not sure of the currency. Which currency should we use to plan our costs for fleight and hotel? USD or TZS?

Both currencies are widely accepted across Tanzania, but your best bet when paying for items such as hotels is to pay in US Dollars. These are obviously much easier to obtain from home and any left over after your trip can be converted back to your home currency without a problem. Tanzania Shillings are useful for paying for small items such as eating out and cab fares etc. There are also ATMs in all major cities where you can withdraw cas as you go along so you do not need to carry around large amounts of cash.
