We will be traveling to Portugal in September 2009 to attend the World Canoe Marathon Championship. I am looking for a rental apartment, house, or villa. The event will take place in Crestuma-Vila Nova de Gaia. Can anyone explain the districts (?) in Northern Portugal? I need to understand that before I contract a rental. We want to be fairly close to the venue as well as the Porto Airport.

Hi Sandy,
I'll advise you to look for - Crestuma, Vila Nova de Gaia - in Google Earth. As you know you can download GE for free and it gives you a glimpse of the area, distances, etc.
