Middle East: Rental car from Jerusalem to Red Sea?

I'm travelling alone in Israel in a few weeks and I'm keen to head to the Red Sea.
Is it easy to organise a rental car from Jerusalem to the Red Sea and how long is the drive and is it safe for a single female to attempt this alone?
Any advice or suggestions?

not sure if these will work, but I was looking for rental car ads a few weeks ago and saw one from Hertz which was a great deal. Two different sites with two different deals.

how long is the drive? From Elat going back to Jerusalem, how long is the drive if you stop at Masada and Dead Sea?
