I am traveling to Washington, DC for the first time in January. I will be landing at The Dulles Airport in the evening and plan to stay at a DC downtown hotel near L'Enfant Plaza. What are my best budget travel options from The Dulles airport? What are my best options for seeing the major sites. I don't mind walking. Are there any safety, weather, or other concerns that I should be aware of?
