I'm in Guatemala City and plan on heading to Flores for a few days to explore. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced accommodation - like a hostel or packpackers for me to stay in while I'm there?

Also I plan on visiting Tikal - are there any other nearby attractions that are definintely worth seeing while I'm there?

Not much around except for Tikal and the small town (more like a settlement!) nearby, Uaxactun.

Last time I was there was in 2004 so my accommodation list isn't up to date, that said, it was a pretty cheap (and kind of dirty) town.
