Malta IS part of the Schengen agreement, as of 21st December 2007.

I really want to know for a fact if malta applies to the shengen agreement, because I really want to get married there this year and my boyfriend can not enter the shengen area until 2011. Can anybody give me a reliable answere, I really apreciate it. Elisabet

Yes there is food restrictions expecialy meats.
It will be better not the take the chance.

MY FIANCEE IS A PHILIPPINO SHE HOLDS A UK AND ITALIAN VISA. I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT FAMILY IN MALTA OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD HER VISA IS ALSO COVERED BY SCHENGEN. AM I ABLE TO TAKE HER TO MALTA WITHOUT APPLYING FOR A TOURIST VISA UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES ? ALL FEED BACK WILL BE VERY MUCH WELCOME THANK YOU.
