Hello, I am looking into the best resorts / islands to go to in the Canary Islands. I have read a bit on wordtravels.com but it would also be good to get some first-hand advice of someone who has been there recently. We are taking a large family - grandparents who want a relaxed time, parents who may want to do some sightseeing and children who want activities and nightlife! Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas seem quite good for nightlife, but might be a bit manic for the rest of us. Likewise Puerto Rico. How about Puerto Morgan? Or Playa del Cura, Las Palmas, Costa Teguise, Puerto del Carmen, Matagorda, Playa Blanca.... There seem so many I dont know where to begin. Also, is Lanzarote better than Gran Canaria. Any advise????!!! J
