- Having lived in Thailand for over twenty years, I have traveled extensively throughout the kingdom, in search of unique places to stay and hidden restaurants offering exceptional food. Getting off the beaten path uncovers a whole new side of Thailand and is to be recommended! At Thailand Holiday Houses we have combined our enjoyment of unique vacation rentals and Thai food to list selected holiday homes for rent in each of the country's geographical regions, with an additional focus on the indigenous food in each region. Whilst we also recommend specific hotels, our main focus is on independent accommodation.
