Nigerian Scam
  • Just reading the others stories breaks my heart, I met a man on dating site..(Im sure there are many good things that com out of dating sites, with that said it is a perfect place for scammers to prey looking for their next victim)......
ok so I met this man who over the last year has broken my heart and my back account..
I wonder has anyone dealt with this problem from a man in Ikeja Lagos Nigeria?

I KNOW ONE THING...NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SEND ANYONE MONEY THROUGH WESTERN UNION OR OTHERWISE!

  • That's the best rule of thumb... never send money to a person you haven't met!
  • This happen to me about 2 Years ago. .He sent me gifts. .photos etc..yep! I fell for at all. I am left with a empty bank account and I am still trying to save again. .
NEVER SEND MONEY TO WESTERN UNION. .
  • Watch out Scotti John
  • It seems the dating sites are flooded with scammers from Ghana and Nigeria. I am a 48 year old man and I was
scammed by a Nigerian posing as a woman. I lost my bank account due to fraud since I foolishly gave the scammer my login details for online banking and they went into the bill pay section and attempted to send out
thousands in payments to other banks. Luckily I discovered the predated payments and notified the bank so I had no liabilty for those. My personal cash loss was $392 sent by W.U. I am glad that is the limit of my cash
losses since I have read others losing much more.

My scammer uses Sophie Clark as their identity and using photos of Sophie Moone who is a porn model.
They also have FB pages so they look more legit. I had suspected the possibility that I was being scammed
but didnt have anything solid at the time and I was ignorant to dating scammers using fake photos.

It wasnt until I discovered Google image that proved to me the reality of being a scam victim.
When I uploaded the photos I had to Google image, I saw they belonged to a model and said outloud
"Oh God..Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" My whole world caved in at that point.

I am repeating what has already been said..'Never send money to a person you have never seen in the flesh...and if they say they are in Ghana or Nigeria..RUN!!!!!!
