Filipino - applying for italian schengen visa

    Hi I am a filipino and i want to apply for schengen visa in order to enter Austria. Well, actually my bf is a resident of Austria. I would like to know if it's really necessary for me to have or to present bank certificate ( One of the visa requirements ) since my bf will sponsor everything when i get there. Please advise. Thanks in advance!
