Hi Suratjon - what would your advice be on women travelling alone or independent back-packers in your country - is this unusal - do most people travel on organized group tours? Any advice would be appreciated as I have a friend who is planning a visit to your country amongst others. Thanks

Uzbekistan is one of the safest countries in the world.It is easy for any backpacker , be a man or woman,to move along the country.But you will to get a visa well in advance through the agency. For this you have to send the copy of your passport and and a letter from your workplace to the agency.For further info you can visit www.tourism.uz.
