Hi, just booked a week end of Oct '10 in Santa Maria, Cape Verde and although malaria is prevelent on a different island, a site has stated that no vaccinations are required to enter these islands. It also mentions that precautions against typoid, polio and cholera are advised - ANY IDEAS WHAT THIS MEANS PLEASE?
Those precautions mean having the general inoculation that many of us had as children. Maybe a booster is advised. Regardless, your risk here is extremely low.
