It is easier to bring your Dollars/Euros/pounds or what ever you have.. Change it in Macedonia - I am origanaly from South-Africa , I live in the R.Macedonia with my wife now , so i have done this drill a few times - I changed my cash from South-African Rands to Euros - then just exchanged it as needed from Euros to Denars ( you can change your cash almost everywhere around Macedonia , there is alot of money exchange places available around Eastern EU I find.. )
It works to about 60 denars to 1 EU...
