traveling to Lanzarote

Hello!
i would like to travel to Lanzarote, and i would like to know whether they're independent or i must forcely apply for my visa in a Spain embassy.

Lanzarote although part of the Canary Islands is part of Spain and therefore Europe. I don't know where you are travelling from to know if you need a visa but would suggest if you need one for Spain this would cover Lanzarote too.
