Visting Istanbul in January 2011

I am thinking of visiting Istanbul by the end of Jan 2011 for 12 days. Is it a good time to do shopping? Will there be sales? I really want to find good shopping deals.

There are sales almost all the time, but in January there are even better sales, thus you should be able to get some great deals in Istanbul.
