I am going to Iceland on the 14th of February 2009 and would like to know what currency to take. Is it best to take Kroner or should I take Euros, Dollars or Pounds strerling

I would suggest taking Sterling or Euros and try the bank at the airport usually gives a slightly higher exchange rate than in town.

Take your visa card and draw cash directly out of the ATMs (if there's any left!). Otherwise any major international currency can be very easily exchanged without any commission.
