What currency will shops in Northern Ireland accept?

    What currency will shops in Northern Ireland accept? I have pound sterling but one £20 note looks different from another? Does Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland all have different notes and will Northern Ireland accept them all? What about euros? It's all a little confusing and I don't want to be stuck with money I can't spend.

    Very good question.
    Simply all are accepted all across Northern Ireland except Euro - the Euro is only accepted in a limited number of outlets.
