    Where can i rent a room with the locals at the high tatry slovakia? Would love to visit the high tatry in slovakia, but unfortunately the hostels there are bloody expensive. I've heard that it's possible to rent rooms from locals, but i've googled it and can't find anything about it. Just wondering if it's actually possible?

    yes its possible of course. actually the are no hostels in high tatras. for example if you go/look at tatra village called ZDIAR, they have a private accomodation almost in every family , check for example here http://www.zdiar.eu/Ubytovanie/kategoria_en.php?id=0 ,and so on with every other village, dont bother to book in advance. if any help needed needed, write to dark_emporium at hotmail dot com

    You can get a single dorm room at the Ginger Monkey Hostel in Zdiar for only 13 Euros per night.
