Is there a Greek Orthodox Church in or near Marmaris Turkey

    I will be going on holiday to Marmaris, Turkey and I am desparate to know if there is a Catholic Church or a Greek Orthodox Church there.

    i dont think so.i think nearest church is in rhodes.also make sure u visit Virgin Mary's House & St. John's tomb in Efes.

    There was no Catholic church in Marmaris up to 2010. Don't know about Orthodox - would like to know myself (email: philswood@aol.com) Your Consul in Marmaris may be able to help - phone number via the internet. There is definitely a British Consul who told me last year (2010) that the nearest Mass is at Izmir, a very long way away. I am going to that area on Monday 3 October for 2 weeks I will have internet connection if anyone can help. Thank you.
