Looking at the MFA website you are required to obtain a visa before you travel:
Egypt: Ordinary passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. Official passport holders are exempted from visa for their travels up to 90 days.

There is no listing for the fee payable at the border gates http://www.mfa.gov.tr/visa-fees-at-border-gates-for-2010.en.mfa

But the situation here changes almost daily so contact the nearest Turkish Consul for up to date information and application procedures.
