How to know if a travel agent is legit

Does anyone know if Far East Travel agency based in Silver Spring, Maryland is legit? Someone I know is planning on purchasing a ticket from them to Cambodia. They quoted her a price that is much less than what I saw online, so that makes me suspicious. Thank you

Do they have an IATA number, or any other accreditation? They should be signed up with a travel body of sorts, in which case you check them out and have some recourse if things go wrong. If not, avoid them!
