getting about sicily

Four of us are travelling to Sicily, would you advise hiring a car or booking a taxi transfer to do the following - travel from Catania to Malazzo, Malazzo to Taormina & Taormina to Catania- I have heard car parking is a problem

yes, car parking can be a problem, but renting a car it's absolutely better and less expensive than taking a taxi.

you could use the train (check on http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/ )
Catania - Milazzo takes a little more than 2 hours by train
Milazzo -Taormina is about 2 hours by train
