Cheap accommodation in Monte-Carlo?

Is it possible to have a cheap holiday in Monaco? I know Monte Carlo is generally pretty expensive, but I'd really like to see the Monaco fireworks festival next year and I won't have too big a budget. Is there budget accommodation in Monte-Carlo? Is it even worth trying to have a cheap holiday in Monaco?
