My wife (Mexican citizen) and I (British citizen) are travelling to Mexico from the UK in December. My wife's passport expires _after_ our trip finishes (end of January) but she has heard conflicting information over whether she is still legal to travel to / land in the respective countries. Can anyone confirm that it is legal for her travel?

Our itinerary covers the following countries:
PARIS (FRANCE) - Transit only
ATLANTA (USA) - Transit only
DETROIT (USA) - Transit only

I appreciate anyone who can offer accurate information as our respecive embassies and consultates have been hopeless.
