I have been thinking about going to Thailand next year. I was wondering if somebody can point me in a right direction. Maybe go there for 2 weeks. Not sure what palce i want to go to thought. I would love to have a tour during day time to see the attractions, diffferent aspects of Thailand culture, but during night time I want plain and simply go out to the bars and just explore place on my own. Maybe stay in 2 or 3 different towns. Can anybody give me a good website, ot just talk about their experiences and what particular cities I might like. Also, give me a price range on how much this all might cost. Thank you!
Why not blend two completely different places to get the most out of what Thailand has to offer? You could mix a week at a fully catered, private pool villa in the countryside where you will experience the true heart of the Thais' Thailand, with a week by the sea in a tourism-orientated destination such as Phuket, Samui or Pattaya. Holiday villas in the rural northeast near Udon Thani include the rural Thai pool villa Gecko Villa at http://www.geckovilla.com and Green Gecko, a classically designed Thai pool villa at http://www.thaivillarent.com, whilst you will find a variety of places to stay in the tourism centres at http://www.thailandholidayhouse.com - they also have a link to a site where you can check the best industry discounted prices at Thailand hotels & resorts over all budgets to get an idea of cost at http://www.thailandholidayhouse.com/Book_Thailand_Hotels.html
Hi.... Also planning to visit Thailand and have a big file on all the stuff we want to do!!! go have a look at : http://www.andamanadventures.com/contact_us.shtml Some good tours to enjoy and you can tailor make and fit as you wish. Good fishing close to Ao nang - Gillhams Fishing resort...(canned monster catfish) We planned to fly to Phuket...spend 3 days and visit Kao Sok national park. Then moving on to Koh Lanta. Diving here we heard was good? Spending 3 of so days on these islands and then transfer to Trang flying back to Bankok for the big shopping before you go back.
