passport expiry for Spain

My son is travelling to Magaluf in a couple of weeks time. His passport is valid until November 2012. Will this be ok?

Hi Sharon, I just got back from Majorca on the 19th May. My passport runs out in September, and I had no problems whatsoever. Your son will be ok with his passport. Take care.

I am traveling to Ibiza 6th Oct 2012 and my passport runs out Feb 2013 will I be ok to use it as I don't want to update it yet as I have also changed my surname and my holiay is booked in my old name

MY SON TRAVELS TO SPAIN IN 2 WKS AND HIS PASSPORT RUNS OUT IN OCT!!!

As long as your passport is still valid on your day of return you are fine to travel within the EU. Hope this clears up some peoples queries. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
