Tips for travelling to Scotland
  • I see todays Telegraph has some tips for travelling to Scotland such as not calling the Scots English or not asking why the men wear skirts. They also offer some translations for those not familiar with Scottish phrases and pronunciations - Ken (know), Bairns (babies), Weeane (Child), Away ye go (No way), Geeze (Give) and Come away in (Come in).

Have you got any other tips for interesting Scottish phrases?
