How much money per day are girls traveling from ukraine to turkey required to have?

I have 2 friends traveling from Ukraine to Turkey next week and they were told that the per day amount of money required to enter Turkey went from $50/day to $200/day. Is anyone aware of this?

The Turkish consulate site still says $50 per day. http://www.turkishconsulate.org.uk/en/visa.htm

I would email them or call direct and check that the info is correct.

Thanks Dave. I saw that on the web site as well. Hope it's correct. I tried calling, but an automated message gave me a 24 hr number to call which is not in service. I'll try it again.
